No apologies needed in 2020

No apologies needed in 2020.

I've said this countless times to business friends who say, "I'm so sorry to have missed this" or "I'm sorry I'm just getting back to you now".

Here's the thing: we are all holding on to our sanity, children's education, income, and health by a dang thread. Being a (vaguely) functioning human is a feat of will and determination. Anything beyond that is overachieving, frankly.

I missed a call with fellow Dame, Stephanie Morimoto, a few weeks ago. That sort if ish really rarely happens and I was positively mortified. (I'm mean... she's a BIG DEAL!)

She said, "sometimes active self-care is helping someone out. Let's just reschedule". I was so grateful for that grace!

Tell me: Are you giving people grace in 2020?
