Exciting News... I'm in a book!

Today marked the launch of a humorous book series for kids about moms in STEM careers. And guess what?

I'm the subject of a children's book!

I'm so happy to officially tell everyone about Jennifer Javornik's new book, She's a Technology Sales Executive and She's My Mom, based on real-life STEM mom... me, Ashley Quinto Powell. It's currently available on www.formationbooks.com and will be released to major online retailers in the next two weeks!

The book is a truly sweet retelling of what I do- meeting clients (pirates!), speaking at conferences (for aliens!) and connecting with my kids while I travel. Most importantly, the book describes how I do what I do so talented developers get to do what they love- build great apps. Bendyworks makes an appearance, including my beloved coworker, Pearl Latteier and our champion CEO, Brad Grzesiak.

I am so delighted to be a part of helping kids- especially girls- get to STEM.
