When I'm brought in to talk to sales teams, I start by explaining that our role in an organization is to make everyone feel secure in their jobs so the company can grow and thrive on a solid foundation. No organization expands without confidence in their sales team - in fact, I love to judge a sales team by how many employees at a company are getting married and having kiddos. Employees make big life decisions based on how secure their jobs are and how safe the company is. And when I talk to founders of SMBs who want to make a living doing what they love, it's the sales they have to get right in order to follow their passion. Is this your sales mindset?
