I love the new year and the process of making resolutions. There's a quote somewhere about how we over-estimate how much we can accomplish in a year, and under-estimate how much we can accomplish in 5 years.

🗣 Tell me this: what were you doing 5 years ago? Could you have predicted where you are today?

In January of 2016, I had just started at Bendyworks and was working through the logistics of having my husband be a stay-at-home-dad. I was *just* starting to give talks about salary negotiation and was hitting my networking stride.

Oh, what a baby I was!!! 👶
