Three Software Apps to Get You Through These Weird Times (Covid-19)

Here are three software apps (Two you’ve heard of and one that you probably haven’t) to help you adapt and thrive during this strange new world of almost exclusively virtual communication!

Zoom is what I use for teleconferencing and many of my clients do also. My favorite feature - face smoothing! What more could you possibly want in a virtual meeting software?

Finally, Gumroad is for digital product. If you’re looking to pivot into digital products, online courses, or videos, Gumroad is a way to allow your clients to buy or rent your digital content. They even handle all of the licensing and abuse prevention for you!

Next up is Clips, which is how I recorded the video below. It’s a free iPhone app that makes it very easy to have live subtitles attached to your video. I remain convinced that plenty of people are reading video, so I try to have live subtitles and Clips is a really easy way to do that.
