How are you using your VA (Virtual Assistant)?

If you're worried about increasing your visibility on social media and are worried that you might get negative feedback, that's not a problem you have right now. Someone has to read your post to be offended by it, and no one's reading the blog post you haven't written.

In the consulting that I do, I'm often brought into a small firm after a biz dev person has failed. Making the transition from founder-led sales to sales led by anyone else is one of the hardest parts of owning an agency- and I think this represents a big part of the problem.

It's a bummer, but gives us a chance to make our own traditions. Instead, we're leaning into a drumsticks-only dinner with buffalo chicken drumsticks and ice cream drumsticks. The children are very clever. 😂

These next couple of weeks are critical to setting yourself up for 2021. We're about to head into vacation-brain purgatory and then straight into a surprise 2-week December.

That also means that if you're posting time-sensitive material, it might show up long after your really want it to. Posts that start with "join me today" are doomed. No one's going to see that on time.

Here's the thing: we are all holding on to our sanity, children's education, income, and health by a dang thread. Being a (vaguely) functioning human is a feat of will and determination. Anything beyond that is overachieving, frankly.

Today, I called on Amber Swenor with a marketing question. She answered my text immediately. I've called in legal experts, social media experts, brand experts... the list goes on. These women have my back. They're brilliant. And I can trust them to give me the real real, tough love, advice with my best interest at heart.

Ashley was a rock during this time. She helped brainstorm lead nurturing strategies, introduced automation that helped scale outreach, and perhaps most importantly, served as a coach who reminded me that things were better than I perceived. Of course, Ashley was right. Ethos is having a massive growth spurt and many of the tools and tips I learned from Ashley to manage that growth are coming into play now.
